With the spring market upon us, it is time for an annual reminder of common courtesies – especially in the hot robust market we are currently experiencing.

When visiting other BHG offices to use phones, computers, meet clients, etc., please introduce yourself to the receptionist indicating which office you are from. There is no way they can know everyone in the company, so it is good to put a face with a name you have heard.

As always, dress professionally when working, touring, and visiting open houses. It is a common opinion that BHG agents lead the way!

When holding listings open, please be ever cautious and vigilant of visitors in protecting your sellers’ interests and personal property, as well as yourself. If you feel uneasy about someone coming through, please be extra careful and notify your broker of your concerns. Your safety is of utmost importance to us.

With multiple offers occurring, be careful with the counsel you offer to your seller when they are countering. We realize that agents of some other companies may counsel buyers to waive inspection rights in an effort to secure a contract. This practice is unacceptable and absolutely not allowed at BHG Kansas City Homes where client protection is most important.

In a hot market, everyone can get REALLY busy. Please remember to schedule a few minutes to provide feedback on the listings you show – this can be very helpful to your fellow agent. Hopefully, the agents who receive that feedback will return the favor and help you with your sellers in the future.

These times can be stressful, at the same time challenging and exciting! We appreciate all of your hard work each and every day – you all are the best of the best – everyone in town knows it – and the numbers show it!

Have a safe, happy and productive spring!
